We are hiring Kong Developer, Bangalore Skill set: Kong API, Middleware, Websphere, Tomcat Server Work Location : Bangalore Experience : 7 years - 9years Key responsibilities of a Kong Developer: Kong configuration: Design, create, and manage Kong entities like services, routes, plugins, and consumer configurations to define API behavior. Custom plugin development: Write custom Lua scripts to extend Kong functionality with specific requirements. API integration: Integrate Kong with existing backend systems and APIs, handling request routing and data transformation. Traffic management: Implement load balancing, caching, rate limiting, and other traffic management features within Kong. API security: Secure APIs by implementing authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms. Monitoring and troubleshooting: Monitor Kong performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot problems with API traffic. DevOps integration: Automate Kong configuration management within CI/CD pipelines. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation using the Kong Developer Portal.
