We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in accounting systems (QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, Suvit) along with a strategic understanding of business and investment processes and cross-border reporting frameworks. This is a leadership role that demands a balance of technical accounting proficiency, process excellence, and people management capabilities. Key Responsibilities Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and delivery. High data entry speed. Oversee bookkeeping, reconciliations, journal entries, and closing activities. Maintain financial records in compliance with global accounting standards and internal policies. Review and manage workflows across QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, and Suvit platforms. Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and compliance officers for statutory filings and audits. Develop and implement process automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and data accuracy. Collaborate with the investment and operations teams to align accounting data with investment reporting and fund performance analytics. Monitor cash flows, budgeting, and expense management. Mentor junior accountants and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Mandatory) Professional certification: US CPA or equivalent preferred (Indian CA not considered for this role) Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting, financial operations, or investment firm environments Proven expertise in QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, and Suvit Strong understanding of financial statements, consolidation, and reporting frameworks Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills Exposure to US/Canada accounting and reporting practices is a strong advantage Benefits Competitive compensation and performance-linked incentives Exposure to international clients and investment structures Merit-based, collaborative work culture Opportunities for professional growth and global financial exposure
