COMPANY:- YACHT LIFE GOA Job Title: KST Department: Kitchen Location: Panaji Goa Job Summary The Kitchen Steward (KST) plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and back-of-house areas. This role supports the culinary team by ensuring all equipment, utensils, and workspaces are sanitized and organized, contributing to efficient and safe kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, storage areas, and garbage disposal units. Ensure proper segregation and disposal of kitchen waste. Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment. Assist chefs and cooks by organizing clean utensils and kitchen tools. Follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures. Refill soap dispensers, paper towels, and cleaning materials as required. Perform deep-cleaning tasks on a scheduled basis. Report maintenance issues or damaged equipment to supervisors. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Requirements No formal education required; high school diploma is a plus. 0–2 years of experience in a stewarding, housekeeping, or kitchen support role. Physically fit and able to lift heavy items and work long hours standing. Basic understanding of hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation practices. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a hotel, resort at 5 star Basic knowledge of kitchen tools and food safety is a plus. What We Offer Competitive salary and food allowance.
