1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess childrensdevelopmental, sensory, motor, cognitive, and emotionalskills.2. Develop individualized treatment plans based onassessment findings and in collaboration with the child'sfamily and other healthcare professionals.3. Set goals that are specific, measurable, achievable,relevant, and time-bound (SMART).4. Implementing evidence-based interventions to improvechildren's abilities to participate in daily activities such asself-care, school tasks, play, and social interactions by usinga variety of techniques, modalities, and activities to addressfine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, visualperception, and self-regulation.5. Provide education and training to parents/caregivers onstrategies to support their child's development andfacilitate progress outside of therapy sessions.6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation ofassessment results, treatment plans, progress notes, anddischarge summaries in accordance with professionalstandards and regulatory requirements.7. Advocate for the needs of children with disabilities ordevelopmental delays within the community, schools, andhealthcare systems. Promote awareness and inclusion toimprove access to services and support for children andtheir families.
