The Opportunity: Strategic Partner, Profit Driver

Senior Key Account Manager

Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

You will be the 'CEO' of your accounts, acting as the key interface between the client and our internal teams (Costing, Operations, R&D). Your primary goal is to structure profitable, complex, multi-year deals that create an undeniable win-win for both Benz and the client.


Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Ownership:

    Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans for a portfolio of high-value automotive, engineering, and industrial clients.
  • Profit-Driven Growth:

    Own the complete commercial relationship, with a primary focus on

    profitable revenue growth, margin enhancement, and cross-selling/up-selling

    our full suite of VCI, desiccant, and barrier-film solutions.
  • TCO & Value Articulation:

    Act as a technical consultant, analyzing client operations to map our advanced solutions to their specific challenges (e.g., corrosion, moisture, transit damage, scrap reduction).
  • Internal Commercial Leadership:

    Serve as the central point of contact for your accounts. Lead internal coordination with

    Costing, Production, Logistics, and R&D

    to ensure flawless execution, accurate forecasting, and alignment on pricing and service commitments.
  • C-Level Partnership:

    Build deep, resilient relationships across all levels of the client's organization (Procurement, Engineering, Operations, and Leadership) to become an indispensable, long-term partner.
  • Commercial Management:

    Lead complex contract negotiations, RFQ/RFP responses, and provide executive-level reporting on account health, risk, pipeline, and market intelligence.



Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience:

    7+ years of dedicated Key Account Management experience, with a proven track record of managing and growing multi-crore, multi-year B2B accounts.
  • Mandatory Industry Expertise:

    Must have deep domain experience in B2B sales to

    automotive, heavy engineering, industrial manufacturing, or specialty components sectors.

  • Commercial & Cost Acumen:

    Demonstrable experience in

    value-based or TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) selling.

    You must be comfortable discussing margins, cost drivers, BOMs, and operational efficiency with both clients and internal finance teams.
  • Proven Performance:

    Verifiable track record of consistently exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
  • Skills:

    Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and C-level communication skills. A strategic planner with a "hands-on" execution mentality.
  • Internal Navigation:

    Strong analytical skills and an ability to navigate complex internal organizations to get things done for your client.
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, or related. An MBA is a strong plus.
  • Mobility:

    Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
