About the Role


Key Account Manager (KAM)

This role involves driving client satisfaction, managing strategic accounts, and identifying growth opportunities while collaborating with internal culinary, strategy, and operations experts.


Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Client Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients across the F&B industry.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with CXOs, restaurant owners, chefs, and operations heads.
  • Deeply understand client business needs, challenges, and growth plans.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of consulting solutions and services.

Business Growth & Revenue Ownership

  • Drive account growth through upselling and cross-selling consulting services (menu engineering, branding, kitchen design, operations improvements, audits, market entry, etc.).
  • Own the account P&L and meet quarterly revenue targets.
  • Develop account plans and strategies to maximize long-term value.

Project Coordination

  • Work closely with internal teams—culinary experts, operations consultants, branding & marketing teams—to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Monitor project execution, timelines, and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Gather and interpret client feedback for continuous improvement.

Market Intelligence

  • Stay updated with food trends, consumer behaviours, supply chain developments, and competitive benchmarks.
  • Provide strategic insights to clients based on industry knowledge and data.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain updated CRM records, client communication logs, proposals, and account reports.
  • Present monthly/quarterly business reviews to clients and internal leadership.



Required Skills & Experience


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Food Technology, or related field (MBA preferred).


Experience

  • 3–6 years experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Client Success within:
  • F&B consulting
  • Hospitality
  • QSR / restaurant chains
  • FMCG / Food brands
  • Food suppliers or distribution
  • Experience handling mid to large accounts in the foodservice industry is a strong advantage.
