Key Account Manager

Role Overview: You will be joining Orient Electric, a renowned company in the Indian market of electrical appliances, known for its diverse product portfolio including fans, home appliances, lighting, and switchgear. As a Key Account Manager (KAM), your primary goal will be to establish and nurture long-term relationships with the company's key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and cultivate new partners and markets in Karnataka. - Develop strong relationships and devise growth strategies for the assigned portfolio. - Possess a strong network of regional partners within the industry. - Demonstrate expertise and experience in the relevant industry. - Focus on enhancing market share and counter share with a retail-oriented mindset. - Maintain updated market, sales, and financial forecasts to facilitate business activity assessments. - Gather market intelligence on competing products, technologies, market size, growth trends, product specifications, and customer requirements. - Adhere to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for effective performance. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. - 8-12 years of experience in a similar industry with a proven track record of managing key accounts successfully. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Proficiency in market analysis and strategic planning. - Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and events.
