Operations Associate - Health Tech Startup We are a growing health tech startup looking for a driven Operations Associate to play a critical role in implementing our MVP and ensuring seamless delivery of healthcare services to our patients. About the Role This is a high-ownership position where you'll be at the forefront of our operations, working directly with founders, clinicians, and patients to build and refine our service delivery model. About the role This is a part-time role, centered on teleconsultations, motivational assessment, and structured behavior change planning across varied mental health presentations. You will shape the psychological care pathway, create individualized strategies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary network to ensure patients receive comprehensive support across medical, psychological, and social domains. Key responsibilities Patient understanding and assessment Conduct in-depth tele-assessments to understand patients’ history, context, symptoms, goals, and barriers to change. Develop working formulations and provisional care plans aligned to evidence-based frameworks. Use standardized screening tools and progress measures to guide care and track outcomes. Behavior change strategy Co-create personalized behavior change plans using approaches such as CBT techniques, motivational interviewing, and habit-building protocols. Set clear goals, break them into actionable steps, and establish follow-up cadence and accountability checkpoints. Identify risk factors and early warning signs; establish safety plans and escalation criteria. Digital care delivery Provide time-bound tele-therapy/tele-counseling sessions, structured check-ins, and asynchronous guidance as appropriate. Maintain high-quality documentation, session notes, and outcome tracking in the platform EMR. Ensure adherence to ethical, privacy, and telepractice standards. Care coordination and referrals Identify when multidisciplinary inputs are needed; coordinate referrals to psychiatrists, physicians, social workers, coaches, and support programs. Collaborate with internal care coordinators and external providers to deliver a seamless, team-based care experience. Participate in case reviews and contribute psychological insights to care pathways and SOPs. Patient engagement and education Collect structured feedback to improve experience and outcomes. What we’re looking for Required Master’s/M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology; RCI registration preferred. 1–3 years of clinical practice with direct patient work. Strong skills in assessment, formulation, and behavior change planning via telehealth. Excellent communication, empathy, and boundary management in digital settings. Comfortable working independently in a startup environment with clear clinical judgment and escalation discipline. Preferred Experience with telehealth-only caseloads and stepped-care models. Proficiency with evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, behavioral activation, problem-solving therapy, mindfulness-based strategies).
