Desired Candidate Profile 1-4 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field. Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution. Proficiency in IS Standards, IMIR, WPS, PQR, NDT techniques such as UT, RT, MT. Job description for QAQC Engineer Review of the project scope of work, material specifications, and drawings for any conflict with the requirement of the Quality standards and advise the Engineering Department to initiate the corrective actions with the client prior to commencement of work. Review of inspection and Test plan (QAP) per QC-Procedure, Client Specification and Approved Drawing. Maintaining welding inspection/NDT reports and record tracking. Witness of welding procedure qualification, welder performance qualification & approval. Preparation of WPS & PQR. Preparation of welding inspection summary. Inspection of joints fit up, alignment and dimensional accuracy as per drawing requirements. Co-ordination with client or TPI or Contractor. Interpretation of Isometric drawings and Weld maps. Quality control documentation as per Quality inspection Procedure. To ensure related activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications. Preparation of QC Report. Required Candidate profile He should co-ordinate with Client Quality Engineer for various approvals. He should prepare the method statements required for the project and getting its approval NDT Level II
