About the Role

Dataviv Technologies is seeking a Junior VR Developer with a passion for immersive experiences, spatial mapping, and projection-based visual design. The ideal candidate will assist in creating and deploying VR/AR installations, projection-mapped environments, and interactive educational or industrial simulators—not games, but realistic, data-driven immersive systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design immersive VR environments and 3D interactive spaces using Unity and/or Unreal Engine.
• Work on projection mapping and spatial visualization projects combining virtual and physical elements.
• Integrate 3D assets (Blender/Maya/Cinema 4D) into interactive applications.
• Collaborate with AI/IoT teams to synchronize sensor data with immersive visual outputs.
• Optimize VR applications for smooth headset performance (Oculus, HTC Vive etc.).
• Participate in design and setup of multi-projector immersive domes, education labs, and simulator rooms.
• Support testing, calibration, and deployment of hardware and projection systems.

Skills & Tools

• Proficiency in Unity 3D and/or Unreal Engine
• Knowledge of Blender for 3D modelling and animation
• Understanding of projection mapping, spatial tracking, and lighting calibration
• Familiarity with VR headsets (Oculus Quest, HTC Vive, Pico etc.)
• Basic scripting in C# or Python a plus
• Experience with AR/VR plugins, 360° media, and interactive canvases advantageous
• Knowledge of GIS or mapping concepts preferred (but not required)

Requirements

• Based in or near Gurugram – must be able to work onsite 6 days a week.
• Degree in Computer Science, Design, Animation, or a related field preferred.
• Enthusiastic about immersive media and spatial AI applications.
• Eager to learn and contribute to real-world VR/AI deployments in education and industry.
