Job Description – Junior Textile Designer (Mattress Fabric) We are looking for a creative and passionate Junior Textile Designer to join our team, specializing in mattress fabric design. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in the textile industry with a keen eye for patterns, colors, and fabric textures suitable for home furnishings. Position: Junior Textile Designer – Mattress Fabric Location: Survey No. 217/13, Village Dadra D& NH and Trade House, Surat-395002, Gujarat, India Dadra, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu 396193 Experience Required: 3 to 5 years in textile design, preferably in mattress or upholstery fabric design. Educational Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Textile Design or a related field. Key Responsibilities: Design mattress fabrics using CAD software and manual techniques. Create original patterns, colorways, and textures based on trend research and client briefs. Work closely with the production and marketing teams to translate design ideas into final products. Ensure designs are optimized for weaving/knitting processes and fabric limitations. Maintain a library of fabric swatches and design references. Support senior designers with sampling and client presentations. Required Skills: Strong understanding of woven and knitted fabric structures. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and textile design software (e.g., NedGraphics, CorelDRAW). Creativity and attention to detail in pattern development and color selection. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Knowledge of textile trends, yarn types, and finishes used in mattress fabrics.
