As a Junior Lab Technician Intern at Orange Health, you will have the opportunity to join a fast-growing diagnostic lab committed to providing fast, accurate, and reliable diagnostic services. Your role will involve assisting in performing routine laboratory tests on patient samples, learning to operate and maintain laboratory equipment, supporting sample handling procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the lab. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in performing routine laboratory tests on patient samples under supervision. - Learn to operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers, auto-analyzers, and centrifuges. - Support proper sample handling, storage, and processing in adherence to laboratory protocols. - Observe and follow quality control procedures and document test results accurately. - Gain familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance with NABL guidelines. - Collaborate with senior lab technicians and pathologists for accurate diagnostic processes. - Assist in maintaining records of tests performed and timely reporting of results. - Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the lab. Requirements: - Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT / BMLT) or a relevant field. - Experience: Freshers and students with internship or academic lab experience are encouraged to apply. - Basic knowledge of laboratory testing methods and instruments across multiple departments. - Understanding of quality control procedures and laboratory best practices. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. - Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
