Junior Systems Administrator (The candidate should be based in Goa to work from our office in Karaswada, Mapusa) NVI focuses on making it easy for retailers, photographers, and businesses to offer their customers high quality personalized products - such as photo books, calendars, gifts, stationery, canvases, prints and posters. We also offer a range of products for consumers and creative professionals. NVI has been in the photographic industry for over 30 years, manufacturing photo products for consumers and pro photographers. As a member of the IT team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the systems that enable our products and services and work closely with engineering and business teams. Responsibilities : Manage the entire network infrastructure of an organization along with computer systems and servers Design and install computer systems, routers, switches, local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and intranet systems. Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues, and offering training as needed. Knowledge of Linux operating systems, windows server, mysql, SQL server Thorough knowledge and experience in installation and troubleshooting windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 Monitor the speed of the internet to make sure that everything runs smoothly. Develop organizational security procedures and also run regular data checkups - setting up, deleting and maintaining user accounts. Strong documentation skills to create and maintain system documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures. Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Google meet, Teams, Zoom) to facilitate communication and collaboration among team members. Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures. Exploring innovative tools to fulfill organizational needs through comprehensive research and analysis. Qualifications: Diploma or B.Sc or Equivalent Degree in Computers field with 1 + years experience and hands on experience in the following. Basic knowledge of Linux, preferably Redhat, Centos Working knowledge Networking (DNS, routing, switching, security) Basic Understanding of web and application servers preferably Apache & IIS webservers Working knowledge in System Patching and Virus protection Products Programming and Scripting experience (Ruby, Python, PHP, or Perl) is a plus Computer security background is a plus Good English communications and writing skills Self motivated and quick learner.
