Role & responsibilities Job Title: Junior Civil Site Engineer Experience: 0 to 2 Years Location: Chennai & Erode Industry: Government Building Construction Job Overview: We are hiring a Junior Civil Site Engineer to help with day-to-day work at government building construction sites. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or those with up to 2 years of experience. You will support the site team in supervision, quality checks, and progress reporting. Responsibilities: Help supervise construction work on-site. Check that work is done as per drawings and government standards. Assist in managing workers, materials, and daily work schedules. Keep records of site work and prepare daily reports. Check material quality and measurements. Follow safety rules and help maintain a clean and safe site. Report issues to the senior engineer or project manager. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering. 0 to 2 years of experience in building projects Basic knowledge of construction work, drawings, and tools. Able to use MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus. Willing to work at project sites. Good communication and teamwork skills. Reports To: Site Engineer / Project Manager
