Role Description

This is an on-site, temporary role located in Ahmedabad for a Junior Research Fellow in Mechanical Engineering at Nirma University. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting research and experiments in the field of mechanical engineering, working closely with faculty members and research teams. Key responsibilities include analyzing data, preparing technical reports, developing innovative solutions, and contributing to published research. The role also involves assisting with laboratory operations, participating in academic activities, and collaborating with other researchers to further institutional research goals.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering concepts, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and material science.
• Proficiency in technical tools such as CAD software, MATLAB, ANSYS, or similar engineering simulation applications.
• Skills in conducting experiments, analyzing research data, and documenting technical findings.
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills for research and technical discussions.
• Enthusiasm for conducting innovative research and staying updated on advancements in the field.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (essential).
• Prior research experience and knowledge of research methodologies (preferred).
