Job Title Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at Amrita School of Computing Location Amritapuri, Kollam Required Number 1 Qualification Preferred: m-tech /M E /M S /BS-MS in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Computer Science and Engineering with a minimum CPI of 6 5, awarded within the last five years, OR Tech Desirable Qualifications: Prior research or project experience in image processing, image compression, machine learning, or deep learning will be given preference, Job Description Project Title: LHFIC-Earth: Towards Learned High-Fidelity Image Compression of Earth Observation Data for Onboard Processing Funding Agency: Anusandhan National Research Foundation (NRF), Government of India Scheme: SERB Prime Minister's Early Research Grant Duration Initial appointment for 1 year, extendable up to a maximum of 3 years or until project completion, based on performance and availability of funds, Fellowship 37,000 + HRA per month for the first two years 42,000 + HRA per month for the third year Age Limit Upper age limit is 35 years at the time of application Relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC/PD candidates will be provided as per Government of India norms, Candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on their CV, qualifications and experience Interested candidates are requested to send their application along with a detailed CV, including a list of academic marksheets, publications, awards, research internships, GATE/NET Score Card Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and the candidates are required to attend at their own expenses, no TA/DA will be provided During interview, the knowledge of candidates will be assessed in the areas of physics, numerical/ computational methods and programming, Job Category Research Advertisement Budget Null Last Date to Apply May 31, 2025
