Immediate Opening: TPI QA/QC Junior Inspection Engineer – Gujarat Reference Number: JIE/SCS/002-12 Location: Gujarat Shift Timing: 12 Hours/Shift Deployment: Deputation during Shutdown Activities Position Summary: We are looking for Junior QA/QC Inspection Engineers to support Third Party Inspection (TPI) services on a 12-hour shift basis during shutdown operations in Gujarat. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in fabrication inspection, piping erection, and static equipment inspection in refinery and petrochemical environments. Eligibility Criteria: Diploma in Engineering with minimum 7 years of QA/QC experience, or Engineering Degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in: Fabrication & erection of piping Inspection of vessels, columns, heat exchangers, spheres, tanks, and reactors Shutdown operations in refineries/petrochemical facilities Mandatory Qualifications: ASNT Level II in: RT (Radiographic Testing) UT (Ultrasonic Testing) MPT (Magnetic Particle Testing) DPT (Dye Penetrant Testing) Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret isometric & P&ID drawings Perform fit-up & weld visual inspections Review and qualify WPS, PQR, and Welder Qualifications as per ASME Sec IX Witness the following tests: DPT, PAUT, UT, MPT, PMI, Ferrite, Hardness Testing Hydro & pneumatic tests , mechanical clearance Review PWHT charts and calibration certificates Interpret radiographic films Conduct internal and external inspections of: Piping, Pressure Vessels, Columns, Reactors, Heat Exchangers, Heaters, Boilers, Tanks Generate and issue inspection reports and recommendations Familiarity with Codes & Standards: ASME BPVC Section II, V, VIII Div. I, IX ASME B31.3 API 510, API 570 OISD Standards Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR) Compensation: An attractive salary package will be offered to the right candidate based on experience and qualification.
