Junior QA Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Salesforce QA Engineer to support manual testing of Salesforce applications under the guidance of senior QA professionals. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of Salesforce functionality and a strong interest in quality assurance.

This role requires attention to detail, good analytical thinking, and the ability to follow defined QA processes. You will be responsible for reviewing requirement documents (BRD, FRS, SDD), executing test cases, logging issues, and validating fixes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirement and design documents (BRD, FRS, SDD) to understand functional requirements.
• Prepare and execute test cases for Salesforce modules based on provided requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, and UAT testing for various Salesforce features.
• Log defects with clear details and steps to reproduce using Jira or similar tools.
• Verify Salesforce configurations like record types, page layouts, and validation rules.
• Maintain detailed test documentation and participate in test case reviews.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, QA sign-offs, and sprint reviews.
• Basic understanding or exposure to automation tools like Provar or Selenium.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years in software QA, preferably with Salesforce or CRM testing exposure.
• Testing Knowledge: Solid understanding of STLC and defect life cycle.
• Documentation: Ability to read and understand BRD, FRS, and SDD.
• Salesforce Understanding: Knowledge of standard Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and user flows.
• Tools: Familiarity with Jira or other bug tracking/test management tools.
• Analytical Skills: Good problem-solving and logical thinking.
• Learning Attitude: Eagerness to learn Salesforce platform testing and QA processes.
• Certifications: Salesforce Trailhead badges or QA certification preferred (not mandatory).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,557.56 - ₹27,168.88 per month
