Junior Project Manager

💼 Professional Experience:

Min. 1 years of experience in project coordination, project support, or junior project management roles — preferably within an IT services, software development, or tech startup environment

🧠 Technical & Functional Knowledge:

Basic understanding of project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall

Familiarity with tools like:

• Jira, Trello, Asana, Click Up, 
• Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• Basic knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), web/app development, or IT infrastructure.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will support the planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of IT and software development projects. You will play a vital role in bridging communication between Tech leads and technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing IT projects across various departments (software development, web/app development, infrastructure, etc.)
• Coordinate daily project tasks, timelines, and deliverables with cross-functional teams.
• Act as a communication bridge between project managers, clients, and technical teams.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address risks or issues.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, meeting notes, and status updates.
• Help manage resource allocation and ensure team members are aligned with project objectives.
• Ensure that all projects adhere to quality standards and meet client expectations.
• Participate in client calls, internal meetings, and sprint planning sessions.
• Support Agile/Scrum processes where applicable.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination or project management in an IT or software company (internship experience also considered).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Basic understanding of project management tools (e.g., Trello, Jira, Asana).
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) or Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Problem-solving attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
• A collaborative mindset and the desire to grow into a senior project management role.
