Junior Manual/Product Tester

Role Overview: As a Manual Tester / Product Tester at Tech Vedika, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of products before their release. Your attention to detail and ability to identify bugs will be essential in meeting user expectations and business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, document, and execute test cases based on product requirements. - Perform manual testing on web, mobile, and desktop applications. - Identify, report, and track bugs and defects using tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello. - Validate bug fixes and conduct regression testing. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to enhance testing strategies. - Conduct various types of testing including functional, usability, exploratory, compatibility, and performance testing. - Ensure product compliance with business needs and quality standards. - Provide feedback to enhance user experience (UX) and functionality. - Document test results and generate test reports for stakeholders. - Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist in release activities. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). - Experience: 3+ years of experience in manual testing or product testing. - Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle). - Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans. - Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla. - Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation (preferred). - Experience in testing APIs and mobile applications (preferred). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and collaboration abilities.
