SUMMARY

Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Legal Officer to join our dynamic legal team at a reputable real estate company based in Kolkata. This role offers valuable exposure to civil and criminal litigation, property law, and real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting legal operations by assisting in drafting critical legal documents, conducting due diligence, and managing litigation-related documentation. With a strong foundation in property laws and a proactive approach to learning, the Junior Legal Officer will contribute to ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation across projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated law graduate to grow within a fast-paced, industry-leading organization.

Responsibilities:

Assist in drafting legal documents including Plaints, Written Statements, Petitions, Legal Briefs, and property-related instruments
Support title verification and due diligence processes for real estate transactions
Coordinate litigation matters and maintain organized, accurate legal records and documentation
Conduct thorough legal research and contribute to case preparation and strategy development

Requirements

Requirements:

LLB or law graduate with 1 5 years of relevant experience in real estate or property law
Solid understanding of property laws, title verification, mutation, and land records
Proven drafting, analytical, and research skills with attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Demonstrated eagerness to learn and take on new legal challenges
Proficiency in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
