Junior Interior Designer

Position Overview
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our interior design studio. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, eager to learn, and able to support senior designers throughout all phases of the design process. This role involves concept development, drafting, sourcing materials, preparing presentations, and assisting with project coordination.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Concept Development

• Support senior designers in developing design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
• Assist with space planning and selecting furniture, materials, finishes, and fixtures.
• Contribute creative ideas during team design discussions and client workshops.

Technical & Drafting

• Produce accurate drawings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D models using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
• Prepare detailed specifications, schedules, and documentation for design packages.
• Assist with revisions to design documents based on feedback from senior staff or clients.

Project Coordination

• Participate in site visits to take measurements, document existing conditions, and support installation oversight.
• Help coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to collect information and samples.
• Track project materials, pricing, and availability.

Client & Studio Support

• Assist with creating client presentations and boards for pitches or design reviews.
• Maintain studio sample library and update supplier catalogues.
• Support day-to-day studio operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite; Revit is a plus).
• Strong aesthetic sensibility with an eye for color, materials, and proportion.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to take direction, collaborate effectively, and work in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and visual.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
