As the Founding Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bringing this innovative product to life. This is not just a job but a chance to be a part of a passionate team with a validated project and the potential for long-term growth. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Build from Scratch:** You will be the primary developer responsible for implementing the RestoPulse application, under the guidance of senior co-founders. - **Field Research (No Sales!):** Accompany the sales co-founder on visits to restaurants in Kannur to observe and understand their internal operations, workflows, pain points, and requirements. - **Feasibility & Strategy:** Assess new feature requests, discuss findings with senior engineers, and define the technical roadmap and milestones. - **Work Mode:** Initially, frequent morning travel for research is required. Subsequently, focus on remote development with availability for further restaurant visits as needed. **Qualifications Required:** - **Experience:** Skilled fresher with a strong portfolio or 1 year of full-stack development experience. - **Tech Stack:** Proficiency in Python or Ruby on Rails for backend and React for frontend. - **Mandatory AI Knowledge:** Foundational understanding of Applied AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation). - **Bonus Points:** Practical experience or projects building RAG applications. - **Mobility:** Ability to travel comfortably anywhere in Kannur, often on short notice. - **Non-Negotiables:** Personal vehicle for travel, personal laptop, and high-speed internet connection. **What We Offer:** - **Salary:** 20,000 per month, with potential for increment to 25,000 based on performance review. - **Reimbursements:** All work-related travel allowances will be paid on top of salary. - **Unmatched Mentorship:** Learning opportunities by working directly under senior engineers. - **Career-Defining Experience:** Participation in all areas of building a startup, from ideation to implementation. - **Potential Future:** Clear path to a permanent, full-time founding engineer role if the project is successful. - **Flexibility:** Opportunity to pursue other opportunities without contractual obligations.
