Brief Objectives of the Position Junior Engineer manage's a parts / a package / all items in execution of a construction project, Day by Day Supervision of all items which shall be executed at site is principal objective of a junior engineer . Guiding to contractors worker is also a very important roll of a Junior Engineer. A. Drawings Collect drawings from SE JE must study deeply all the drawings issued by in house architect, SE, PM. Co-ordination and communication with SE Preparing List of required GFC drawings, submitting it & informing to the Senior Engineer well in advance about the requirement of Drawings & Design Data in next one month & coming week. If any problem or query in execution of respective Item or any discrepancy in design drawings arises , JE should bring it in to consideration of SE B. Execution, Operation, Management & Supervision Day to day supervision of ongoing construction work. Maintain a proper labor force to complete a specified & allocated work. Filling Check Lists & Assisting to SE & QCE in technical checking of ongoing work. Cooperate to store Keeper by supplying labors for material unloading work. Prepare list of departmental labors deployed & allocating work to them as directed by SE. Check & control material , resources wastage at site Calculate the material required for that particular job Coordinate with respective contractor / agency to keep up the speed of work for project completion Write the element number & date of casting after DE shuttering Daily site cleaning & housekeeping work at the time of completion of the day work. Check the temporary water & electricity arrangement Control unnecessary movements of outsiders with in the premises. Improve the quality of workmanship at site Raise memos to concern agency for minor / major wastage that occur on site Control store in absence of store keeper Inform SE / PM regarding the requirement of material Discuss technical problems, drawings, execution mythologies or any difficulties with SE / PM. Manage Site Workflow Inspect Construction Sites Managing parts of construction projects Overseeing building work Prepare Blueprints and Specifications Provide Engineering Support Undertaking surveys Setting out sites Implementing technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly Supervising contracted staff Ensuring Items work in progress shall meet agreed specifications in accordance of drawings Coordinated with contractors and other professional staff. Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to. Preparing Daily Progress Reports Preparing Material Issue slips Supervising minutely the overall construction activities Ensuring & supervising concrete, cementitious materials curing work. C. Documentations Prepare DLR [Daily Labor (Presence) Report] & sending it to SE & Forward & WhatsApp it on (Kharadi) Civil Group Prepare & Submit the Daily Progress report to SE. Forwarding it on Civil Work Group Assistance in Preparation of Material Reconciliation Reports D. Contractor Co-ordination with contractors for their strength and workmanship quality of labour, if problem arises JE should inform immediately to SE Head Counting, Inspection, Verification & Measuring of workers deployed by Contractor. Issuance of GFC drawings to Contractor Site In Charge Problem solving & Guidance of / to Contractor's Technical & Non-Technical staff E. Safety Safety is Preferred & Preliminary responsibility of SE. SE should observe minutely the implementation all the safety rules & regulation. He should keen to complete the project with zero or minimal near miss.
