THE ROLE: IMPACT & CONTRIBUTION The Junior Engineer Quality (Customer) plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by driving quality improvements, analyzing defects, and ensuring prompt resolution of customer complaints. The role demands strong analytical skills, knowledge of quality tools, and proactive coordination with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high-quality standards and compliance. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (Deliverables) Quality Dashboard & Reporting: Ensure timely updates of the Quality Dashboard, Quality Alerts, CAPA reports, and other quality metrics. Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & CAPA: Conduct RCA for quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and monitor their effectiveness. Customer Complaint Handling: Maintain records of customer complaints and service reports while ensuring resolution through effective coordination. Process Documentation Compliance: Ensure adherence to all process documents, including WI, PDI, CP, FMEA, Q, and PFD. Training & Support: Conduct virtual training sessions for QREs and provide support in the absence of the reporting manager. KEY CUSTOMERS SERVED Internal: Quality, Production, Customer Support, Engineering Teams External: Customers, Suppliers, and Certification Bodies KEY ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Customer Coordination: Act as a point of contact for customer-related quality concerns in the absence of the reporting manager. Quality Alerts & Reports: Prepare timely reports and updates on quality issues and trends. Defect Analysis & Problem-Solving: Utilize 7QC tools and 8D methodology for effective problem-solving. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain and ensure compliance with all quality-related process documents. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and customer service teams to address quality issues. Training & Development: Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for QREs and team members KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED Functional Competencies: Expertise in 7QC Tools, 8D Reports, CAPA Reports Strong Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Problem-Solving Skills Electronics Knowledge with an understanding of PCB Assembly & Testing Process Documentation Proficiency (WI, PDI, CP, FMEA, PFD) Customer Complaint Handling & Service Management Behavioral Competencies: Strong Communication Skills (English & Hindi) Proactive & Solution-Oriented Approach Adaptability & Willingness to Learn Collaboration & Teamwork Ability to Work Across Multiple Units (Unit 1 & 2) Skills, Knowledge & Experience: Qualification: BE/BTech in Electronics & Telecommunication (ENTC) or Electronics Engineering Experience: 2+ years in a Quality role, preferably in Electronics Manufacturing Technical Skills: Strong in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Good Grasping Capacity & Readiness to Learn New Processes
