Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Assist in sourcing and procurement of commodities such as metals, plastics, machining, and fabrications.
Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, order confirmations, and timely deliveries.
Support contract preparation and ensure compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with logistics and planning teams for inventory tracking and material availability.
Maintain procurement records and prepare basic reports on supplier performance and market trends.
Contribute to cost-saving initiatives under guidance from senior team members.

Preferred candidate profile

Basic understanding of procurement principles and processes.
Familiarity with commodities like metals, plastics, and machining.
Proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
