Junior Draftsman

Job Description

Key Job Responsibilities Drafting & Design Prepare 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA). Convert rough sketches and specifications into precise engineering drawings. Ensure drawings comply with industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, ANSI). 2. Collaboration & Coordination Work closely with engineers, senior draftsmen, and project teams to understand design requirements. Incorporate feedback and modifications from engineers into designs. Maintain and update drawing databases and documentation. 3.Documentation & Reporting Prepare bills of materials (BOM) and technical documentation. Organize and archive drawings for easy retrieval. Assist in preparing reports related to design modifications and project updates. 4.Prototyping & Testing Support Support engineers in prototype development by providing detailed drawings. Assist in testing and troubleshooting mechanical designs as needed.
