Junior Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Cyber Security Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will assist in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, while also supporting the implementation of security controls and best practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities :

Monitor security alerts and logs to detect suspicious activities.

Assist in investigating and responding to security incidents.

Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.

Help maintain and improve SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems.

Conduct regular audits of systems, networks, and applications to ensure compliance with security policies.

Document incidents, findings, and provide reports to senior security staff.

Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, attack methods, and mitigation strategies.

Provide security awareness support and training to employees.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Basic understanding of networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and IT infrastructure.

Knowledge of common cyber threats, malware, and attack vectors.

Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, antivirus solutions.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good communication and documentation abilities.

Relevant certifications (preferred but not required): CompTIA Security+, CEH, CCNA Cyber Ops, or similar.
