Job Description: Junior Associate / Finance Intern

Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Junior Associate / Finance Intern to support our research, data management, and coordination activities. The ideal candidate should have strong English communication skills, be proficient in basic office tools, and be available during fixed working hours.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Research

Research and collect information on new financial offers and products across banking, credit, loans, insurance, mortgage, and investment categories.

Verify data accuracy using credible institutional websites and aggregator platforms.

Stay updated with new financial trends, policy changes, and product updates.

2. Data Entry, Management & Documentation

Maintain, update, and organize financial data in Excel sheets with accuracy and consistency.

Perform clean-ups, formatting, and validation of data as required.

Support data reporting activities when needed.

3. Cross-Functional & Ad-Hoc Tasks

Assist with tasks involving collaboration between operations, design, and development teams.

Support ongoing projects by coordinating research, data collection, and task execution.

4. Email & Communication Coordination

Draft and coordinate emails with clients and internal team members.

Follow up for missing details, share updates, and maintain timely professional communication.

Ensure clear and concise written communication in English.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Good English communication skills both spoken and written.

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong data entry, data management, and documentation skills.

Ability to conduct structured online research.

Dependable, responsible, and consistent with deadlines.

Available during work hours: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM (IST).

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

Interest in financial products and markets.

Familiarity with aggregator websites and financial institutions’ portals.

Basic understanding of financial terms like APR, cashback, mortgage rates, insurance types, etc.
