Junior Architect

Job description

Preparing Architectural Drawings, Presentation Drawings, Conceptual drawings, planning drawings, Working drawings, GFC drawings, 3D visualization, Simulations & Animations exterior and interior work from scratch as per requirements.

Conversant with the local building byelaws, regulations and NBC.

Good working knowledge and provide support in preparation of MEP services, BOQ, Interior and tender drawings.

Provide support to Site Teams for any design related clarifications; Conduct site visits to monitor progress.

Develop and manage detailed Building Information models using Revit for architectural and structural projects up to LOD 500.

Managing the planning and design stages of civil engineering projects.

Surveying old/ new construction sites and assessing existing structures for upgrades.

Designing and recommending improvements to computer-aided design (CAD) software drawings and schematics.

Performing cost estimations and preparing project budgets.

Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Inspecting completed projects for compliance with industry codes, specifications, and safety standards.

Documenting processes and presenting project progress updates to senior managers/ clients.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Strong understanding of structural design, analysis, and material optimization.

Experience in supervising residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Proficient in vendor negotiations, contracts, and procurement management.

Ensures compliance with industry standards, codes, and specifications.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds max, Lumion and other engineering tools.
