Junior Architect

Job Description

Position: Junior Architect Location: Ahmedabad, India Type: Full-time Experience: 0–2 years About the Role: Arkago is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our team. You’ll be involved in all stages of design—from concept development to working drawings—across a range of public and residential projects. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in developing architectural concepts, presentations, and detailed drawings • Produce technical drawings and construction documentation • Coordinate with consultants, site teams, and vendors when required • Contribute to model-making (digital and physical), research, and material exploration • Be an active part of design discussions and reviews Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Rhino • Strong graphic and visual communication skills • Basic knowledge of construction and materials • Ability to work in a collaborative, open studio environment • Eagerness to learn and take initiative Bonus if you have: • Experience with rendering software (Lumion, V-Ray, Enscape, etc.) • Interest in detailing and documentation
