Junior Accounts Executive

Job Summary

The Junior Accounts Executive will support the finance and accounts department in maintaining accurate financial records, handling daily accounting tasks, and assisting in statutory compliance. The role requires strong attention to detail and knowledge of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records including purchase, sales, payments, and receipts entries.
• Prepare and handle invoices, debit/credit notes, and related documentation.
• Assist in reconciliation of bank statements, vendor/customer accounts, and ledger scrutiny.
• Support month-end closing activities and preparation of MIS reports.
• Assist in GST compliance: data preparation, filing support, and documentation.
• Support TDS workings and filing processes.
• Coordinate with internal departments for accounting data and documents.
• Manage petty cash and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain records for audits and assist auditors when required.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and statutory guidelines.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com) or equivalent.
• 0 to 2 years of accounting experience (Freshers with good academic knowledge may apply).
• Knowledge of GST/TDS and Indian accounting standards preferred.
• Experience using accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP/Prime, ERP, SAP).
• Proficient in MS Excel & basic analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
