Junior Accountant

In this role, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day accounting functions such as data entry, journal vouchers, and ledger maintenance. Additionally, you will assist in updating and maintaining accounting systems and client databases. You will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation of budgets, balance sheets, and financial statements. Conducting basic internal audit checks to flag discrepancies and ensuring compliance with company policies and GAAP will also be part of your key responsibilities. Qualification Required: - CA Intermediate certification is required. Key Responsibilities: - Execute day-to-day accounting functions including data entry, journal vouchers, and ledger maintenance. - Assist in updating and maintaining accounting systems and client databases. - Support the preparation of budgets, balance sheets, and financial statements. - Conduct basic internal audit checks and flag discrepancies. - Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP. Skills & Experience: - Completed articleship in an audit or CA firm. - Proficient in MS Office, accounting software (Tally preferred), and large-data handling. - Understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, standards, and regulations. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Good communication and team-player attitude.
