Junior Accountant

As a Junior Accountant at our company located in Malappuram, you will play a crucial role in our accounting department. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in daily accounting operations and bookkeeping - Preparing and maintaining financial records, ledgers, and reports - Assisting in monthly closings and preparation of financial statements - Reconciling bank statements and other financial records - Helping with tax filings and compliance documentation - Maintaining digital and physical financial files and records - Supporting internal and external audits To excel in this role, you should have: - Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting - Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books) - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Good organizational and time-management skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - Willingness to learn and take on new challenges Preferred Qualifications: - Internship or prior experience in an accounting or finance role - Familiarity with GST, TDS, and basic Indian tax laws (if applicable) - Knowledge of ERP systems If you are looking to join a dynamic team and grow your accounting skills, this position might be the right fit for you.
