We are an integrated sustainability consulting company. Offering our services to large multinational beverages and water-intensive corporations in India and South East Asia. Currently, we are looking for a Junior Geophysicist - Hydrogeologist. Aspiring candidates must have completed M.Tech /MSc. Applied Geology and geophysics with Hydrogeology as a specialization. The position involves undertaking onsite VES/ERT studies, Aquifer performance tests/Pumping tests, and intensive hydrogeological Assessments and studies related to GW exploration, water potentials, yields, and prospects, capable of handling GIS requirements, and modeling. Expertise in watershed-based hydrogeological studies, geophysical results analysis, and integration with hydrogeological context. Undertaking Rainwater harvesting, catchment assessment studies, and design reviews, and having a minimum of 4 + years of working experience is a must in above given areas. Very good writing (technical report writing) and communication skills are essential and required as part of this position.

The position deals with Groundwater and surface water assessments and has experience in hydrology, hydrogeology, geological assessment studies, VES/ERT – electrical sounding surveys, and reporting analysis. The following are the basic requirements to be met:

1. Should have good onsite experience in conducting geophysical studies – ERT/VES using diverse equipment, software applications for mapping, data interpretation and analysis of aquifer potentials, characteristics 2D & 3D mapping, etc., Must possess a good understanding of geology and hydrogeology.

2. Good understanding of geology and hydrogeology in delineating micro–waterheds by using toposheets and other resources, estimating water balance, preparation of land use and land cover maps and analysis, and hydrogeology by using GIS-related software applications. Experience in groundwater modeling and surface water modeling is an added advantage.

3. Ability to map aquifer by conducting pump tests and lithological assessments and interpretations

4. Should have the capability to review, and assess groundwater and surface water, run-off, and percolation – groundwater recharge potentials in designing rainwater-harvesting projects for industries and communities.

5. Attitude, aspirations, and motivation as self-learner – team leader and good motivator
