Job Description

As a member of Newen Systems' Product R&D Team, your role will involve hardware design for power electronics products. You will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Architect circuits for Power Electronics Products by selecting appropriate technology and components. - Design high power IGBT based AC-DC and DC-DC Converters up to 250kW. - Design large complex products including Topology Design, Thermal Design, Enclosure Design, Magnetics & Filter Design, and Wire routing design. - Ensure understanding of NABL and UL approvals for BOM and Production Facility. - Implement UL, ICE, CE Certifications. - Lead advanced research for cost reduction of power electronic hardware and improved product endurance. - Select suitable sensors, computational platforms, protection devices, communication methodologies, and more. - Develop Analog and Digital circuit Schematic and BOM in ORCAD. - Collaborate with layout engineers for optimal layout design. - Provide inputs for manufacturing and testing of Printed Circuit Boards. - Work with Software Engineers on Algorithm design, System Integration, and Troubleshooting. - Develop proof-of-concept implementations, prototypes, and demos. - Disseminate knowledge of hardware design standards and best practices. - Prepare reports and presentations on the design and development process. - Conduct research on emerging hardware products and standards. Qualifications required for this role include: - B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Power Electronics Required Skills: - Hands-on experience with analog, digital, and embedded boards in ORCAD/ALTIUM/KiCAD/PROTEL or similar CAD tools. - Strong understanding of communication technologies such as RS232/422/485, I2C, SPI, CAN, etc. - Experience in integrating Microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGA, etc. - Hardware troubleshooting experience using DSO, Logic Analyzer, Multimeter, etc. Experience: - 3-5 years of experience in Power Electronics Hardware Design Role Newen Systems is a leading power conversion and energy storage solutions provider in India, driving energy transition and grid stability.
