About The Role
- The position is expected to be located at Plant. The Technician is required to track defective units' receipt at plant and conduct root cause analysis with CFT and any testing required. He needs to prepare the analysis report and share it with all. He also needs to do documentation related work for part receipt, inspection & further dispatch of refurbished parts.
What You Will Do
- Coordination with various CFTs for analysis & confirmation of root cause.
- Perform failure analysis on returned infotainment units from production, testing, and field.
- Use diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and audio analyzers to identify electrical and functional faults.
- Conduct visual inspections, X-ray, microscopy, and thermal imaging to detect physical defects.
- Document findings in failure analysis reports and support 8D problem-solving teams.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supplier quality teams to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Collect SW logs and Interact with SW team for analysis
- Connect with Customer Quality team for Zero KM issues closure and analysis
- Maintain Tracker and update analysis progress daily
- Interact with External Laboratories for Environmental testing.
- Develop the testing mechanism & setup for new products
- Conduct vehicle level testing and collect the logs at Dealership or at Customer Line
- Conduct DOE (Design of Experiments) and reliability testing for new and existing infotainment products.
- Maintain failure analysis lab equipment and ensure calibration and readiness.
- Assist in component-level rework, soldering, and PCB-level troubleshooting.
- Track and trend failure modes to support continuous improvement and warranty reduction initiatives.
What You Need To Be Successful
- Excellent knowledge of Electronics product Analysis from SW & HW part. Experience for Infotainment systems will be added advantage

What Makes You Eligible
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in failure analysis, electronics testing, or repair—preferably in automotive infotainment or consumer electronics.
- Hands-on experience with electronic debugging tools and test benches.
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, MOST, Ethernet) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of SMT components, PCB layout, and circuit schematics.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
