About The Opportunity

A fast-growing player in Cloud Analytics and Business Intelligence, focused on delivering Azure-native data platforms and self-service insights for enterprise customers. We build scalable, secure data pipelines and analytics solutions that power product, operations, and strategic decisions.

Role:

Junior Data Engineer — Pune, Maharashtra (Full-time)Role & Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines and ETL workflows using Databricks and Azure Data Factory to ingest, transform, and stage data for analytics.
Develop PySpark/Python notebooks and SQL-based transformations for batch and near-real-time data processing, ensuring performance and cost efficiency.
Work with the Data Insights team to translate reporting requirements into reliable data models and curated datasets for Power BI and downstream consumers.
Support data warehousing tasks on Azure Synapse: optimise distributed queries, partitioning, and storage formats (Delta) for fast analytics.
Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to ensure data reliability and SLA adherence; troubleshoot pipeline failures and data anomalies.
Contribute to engineering best practices: version control, code reviews, documentation, and incremental improvements to the data platform.
