Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and confident Staff Nurse to lead our nursing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining adherence to OR protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a bold and authoritative demeanor, and the ability to motivate and guide the nursing team. Key Responsibilities:1. Leadership: - Lead and supervise a team of nurses, providing guidance and support as needed. - Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration. - Make decisions and take actions to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. 2. Patient Care: - Provide direct patient care, utilizing strong clinical skills and knowledge. - Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions. - Evaluate patient outcomes and make adjustments to care plans as needed. 3. OR Protocols: - Ensure adherence to OR protocols, policies, and procedures. - Stay up-to-date on current best practices and guidelines. - Collaborate with other departments to maintain a safe and efficient OR environment. 4. Communication: - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. - Document patient information accurately and efficiently. - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to decision-making. 5. Professional Development: - Stay current with nursing trends, best practices, and evidence-based research. - Participate in ongoing education and training, maintaining professional certifications as required. Requirements:- Education: BSc Nursing or equivalent - Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar setting, with experience in OR nursing preferred Background Required-Opthalmology - Skills: - Strong leadership and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of OR protocols and procedures - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Certifications:Current nursing registration and relevant certificationsIf you're a motivated and confident nurse leader with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, we'd love to hear from you.
