This role will be pivotal in product development, tooling strategy, jig & fixture design , and gauge development , ensuring seamless conversion of customer/OEM requirements into manufacturable solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead new part development (NPD) from casting incoming to final machining and validation for OEM customers. Drive tooling, fixture, and gauge design aligned with quality and process control requirements. Work closely with design, foundry, and machining teams to ensure product feasibility and process robustness. Validate machining process flow, CNC/VMC/HMC programming inputs , cycle time analysis, and productivity improvement. Manage customer technical discussions , design reviews, and audits related to development projects. Support PPAP, APQP, ECN and FMEA documentation with cross-functional teams. Ensure on-time delivery of proto and sample parts, including dimensional and metallurgical validation. Continuously improve tooling life, machine utilization, and cost-effectiveness of development setups.
