Job Summary: Bechtel is seeking to expand its decades long relationship with Reliance by providing Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi-billion-dollar upgrade / expansion of existing petrochemical facilities in India. Reliance plans to augment its existing petrochemical facilities in Dahej, Gujarat, and Nagothane, Maharashtra, to expand its PVC capacity. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel’s India offices. Major Responsibilities: Oversees and monitors Contractors’ Plant Design & Piping materials planning and requisitioning progress. Responsible for bulk material allocation to various fabrication locations. Reviews surplus materials and works with Materials Engineer to determine suitability. Supports the creation of a work environment that fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction. Education and Experience Requirements: A recognized degree/diploma in a relevant field of application, preferably in engineering or scientific discipline or 25+ years of applicable industry experience. Required Knowledge and Skills: Experience of reviewing complex technical data from suppliers. Understanding of the application of Company procedures, and design guides. Basic knowledge of the full supply chain for piping materials. Skill in oral and written communication. Practical work experience in design engineering or relevant equivalent experience sufficient to demonstrate competence.
