Responsibilities: - Design and develop metal enclosures, brackets, and related components for industrial or commercial applications. - Create and revise 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, production, and procurement. - Perform design calculations, material selection, and tolerance analysis. - Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and functionality. - Review and interpret customer specifications, technical drawings, and schematics. - Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical assemblies. - Maintain accurate design documentation and bill of materials (BOM). Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical/electrical design. - Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is mandatory. - Experience with sheet metal design, metal fabrication, and component integration. - Understanding of electrical enclosure standards and mounting provisions. - Knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and design for fabrication. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities. Required Skills: - Familiarity with electrical layouts, wiring harnesses, and basic PCB mounting considerations. - Experience in product lifecycle management (PLM) systems. - Exposure to simulation tools like SolidWorks Simulation or ANSYS is a plus.,
