Job Summary: The Ultrasonologist is responsible for performing and interpreting ultrasound examinations to help in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. The role includes maintaining detailed reports, ensuring patient comfort, and adhering to imaging protocols and regulatory guidelines. Roles and Responsibilities: Perform routine and specialized ultrasound scans including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, musculoskeletal, small parts, and Doppler studies. Interpret findings and generate accurate and timely reports for referring physicians. Ensure proper positioning and comfort of patients during procedures. Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment and report any malfunction. Adhere to safety protocols and compliance regulations, including the PCPNDT Act.
