Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths and Physics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching both Mathematics and Physics to students at Politechic college till 12th std. The teacher will create a dynamic and engaging classroom environment, fostering curiosity and a deep understanding of the subjects. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Mathematics and Physics according to the schools curriculum and educational standards. Ensure that lessons are structured and focused, catering to the learning needs of all students. Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and use a range of instructional techniques to ensure students are actively engaged. Assessment and Feedback: Design, set, and grade assessments (exams, quizzes, projects) to evaluate student progress in both subjects. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, helping them improve academically. Track student progress and make adjustments to teaching methods as needed to support individual learning goals. Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and productive learning environment. Manage classroom behavior effectively, maintaining discipline while encouraging student participation. Promote respect, responsibility, and academic integrity among students. Collaboration and Professional Development: Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure an integrated approach to teaching Maths and Physics across grade levels. Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning sessions, and school-wide professional development programs. Stay updated with developments in the fields of Mathematics and Physics and integrate relevant advancements into teaching practice. Student Support: Provide additional academic support to students who are struggling or need further enrichment in Maths and Physics. Encourage a growth mindset among students, inspiring them to challenge themselves and achieve their potential. Assist in organizing extracurricular activities, such as science fairs, mathematics competitions, or study clubs. Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and behavior. Assist with other duties as required by the school administration. Qualifications and Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Physics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Teaching certification or qualification in education (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent). Experience: Proven experience teaching Maths and Physics at [specific grade levels, e.g., secondary school, high school]. Familiarity with [specific educational systems, e.g., national curriculum, international baccalaureate, etc.] is desirable.
