Key Responsibilities: Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, or rotating equipment. Develop and maintain job plans, work packs, and task lists in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS typically SAP PM). Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and reliability teams to ensure accurate job scope definition, resource identification, and material availability. Monitor work order backlog and prioritize tasks based on criticality, equipment availability, and production needs. Ensure all planned jobs are aligned with safety standards and bp's OMS (Operating Management System). Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance planning such as schedule compliance, PM completion rates, and backlog trends. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and eliminating planning inefficiencies and equipment downtime. Liaise with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials and spare parts. Assist in root cause analysis and failure investigations by providing historical data and insights from CMMS. Maintain up-to-date asset data and equipment hierarchies in line with bp's maintenance and engineering standards. Essential Education & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline. 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance planning in oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, manufacturing, or similar heavy industries. Preferred Skills & Competencies: Strong working knowledge of SAP PM or other CMMS platforms. Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies. Good knowledge of maintenance work processes and job execution practices. Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO, API) related to maintenance planning. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Good communication skills to work effectively in a cross-functional, multicultural team. Exposure to reliability tools like RCM, FMEA, and work order analysis (desirable but not mandatory)
