Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Security Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor and analyze network traffic, logs, and security alerts for suspicious activities. Respond to security incidents by investigating, containing, and remediating issues. Collaborate with IT teams to implement corrective actions following security incidents. Vulnerability Management: Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses. Ensure that vulnerabilities are properly prioritized and remediated in a timely manner. Manage patch management and security updates to ensure all systems are protected. Risk Assessment & Compliance: Conduct security risk assessments to identify and address potential threats to the organizations information assets. Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations. Assist in the preparation for audits and security assessments. Security Architecture & Best Practices: Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure, tools, and processes. Enforce best practices for secure software development, secure network architecture, and data protection. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all stages of the development lifecycle. Security Awareness & Training: Conduct employee training and awareness programs related to information security. Keep employees updated on current phishing scams, social engineering tactics, and other security threats. Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain all documentation for security policies, procedures, and incident reports. Report on security incidents, trends, and metrics to leadership. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security. Certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) or CompTIA Security+. Experience with cloud security and security for cloud-based applications. Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automating security tasks. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
