Job Description

Skill Set: SySML Modelling - Only with expertise in Hardware/Mechanical systems.

Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Deep, hands-on expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using
SysML
Proven proficiency with
Magic Draw or Cameo
Systems Modeler is essential.
Robust knowledge of automotive hardware systems, particularly mechanical and mechatronic systems (e.g., steering, braking, suspension, wipers, latches).
Demonstrated ability to work as a senior individual contributor, taking ownership of complex technical domains.
Experience within the automotive industry and familiarity with its development processes and standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for abstracting complex mechanical interactions into clear, logical models.
INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) certification.
Experience integrating mechanical models with control software models in tools like MATLAB/Simulink.
Familiarity with requirements management tools such as
IBM DOORS, Jama
Connect, or Polarion.
Knowledge of physical modeling and simulation tools (e.g., Adams, Amesim) and how they can inform or be driven by the system architecture.
Understanding of
CAD tools (like CATIA, SolidWorks)
and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems to ensure alignment between the
SysML model
and the detailed mechanical design.
