Overview of the Role:

Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable

  data models

  and

  transformation pipelines

  using

  DBT

  and

  Snowflake

  .
• Write, optimize, and maintain

  complex SQL queries

  (including

  CTEs

  ) to support data transformation and analytical requirements.
• Implement and manage

  ETL/ELT workflows

  for efficient, reliable, and timely data ingestion and processing.
• Collaborate with analytics, business, and engineering stakeholders to deliver robust, high-quality data solutions.
• Enforce adherence to

  data modeling best practices

  and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Conduct

  performance tuning

  , troubleshooting, and query optimization for large-scale datasets.
• (Nice to Have) Integrate pipelines with

  CI/CD processes

  for automated deployments.
• (Nice to Have) Develop scripts in

  Python

  for advanced data processing and automation.

Skill Requirements:

• Mandatory:

• DBT (Data Build Tool)
• Snowflake
• Advanced SQL (including CTEs)
• ETL/ELT processes

• Nice to Have:

• Python
• CI/CD tools
• Strong understanding of

  data modeling principles

  database design

• Bachelors or Masters degree in

  Computer Science

  , or related field.

Other Requirements (Optional):

• Experience with cloud data platforms or big data ecosystems.
• Relevant certifications (e.g.,
