Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


  1. System Design and Architecture:

    • Design the architecture for Jira instances, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

    • Plan and implement Jira infrastructure upgrades and expansions.



  2. Configuration and Customization:

    • Configure Jira projects, workflows, issue types, screens, fields, permissions, and notifications.

    • Develop and implement custom Jira plugins and scripts as needed.

    • Integrate Jira with other enterprise systems and tools, such as Confluence, Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines.



  3. Process Optimization:

    • Work with stakeholders to understand and analyze their needs, translating them into efficient Jira configurations and workflows.

    • Streamline and optimize existing workflows and processes for enhanced productivity and user experience.



  4. Security and Compliance:

    • Ensure that Jira configurations adhere to organizational security policies and compliance requirements.

    • Implement and manage security settings, including user roles, permissions, and authentication mechanisms.



  5. Support and Maintenance:

    • Provide advanced support for Jira users, addressing complex issues and troubleshooting problems.

    • Maintain and monitor Jira performance, conducting regular health checks and tuning.
