Core responsibilitiesFinancial record management: Maintain accurate books, process invoices, and handle daily transactions.Financial reporting: Prepare financial statements, reports, and assist with audits.Inventory and cost accounting: Manage and value jewelry inventory, and assist with cost accounting and pricing strategies.Taxation and compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws, including filing GST and TDS returns, and manage payroll.Cash flow and banking: Monitor cash flow and manage banking activities.Strategic support: Provide financial analysis and insights to management for decision-making. Required skills and qualificationsEducation: A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a CA or ICWA qualification is a plus.Experience: Typically requires 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the jewelry industry.Software proficiency: Must be proficient in accounting software like Tally, and advanced Excel (including PivotTables and Power Query).Analytical skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis abilities.Soft skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and good communication abilities.
